Abstract

YANO, Luciane Patrícia. The clinic in gestalt-therapy: the gestalt of calls in depressive disorders. Rev. NUFEN [online]. 2015, vol.7, n.1, pp. 67-85. ISSN 2175-2591.

Nowadays, depression is considered an important theme and many works in the context of Psychological Science is engaged in order to investigate it. However, the quantity of studies correlating the Gestalt approach and clinical care on depression is still low. Thus, this article presents conceptual and descriptively, a structuration of a psychotherapy within people with depressive complaints in an existential- phenomenological perspective of Gestalt therapy. In order to do this it was used as theoretical predictions the authors Joyce & Sills (2014) and Roubal (2007), as well as the clinical trials of the author. The conclusions of this article are moving towards a possibility to semi-structured clinical care in Gestalt approach, since this approach may be useful to point out fundamental problems and to promote new insights into clinical care with clients suffering from depression. Still, this approach to clinical practice suggests an integrative way as the applicability of the concepts of Gestalt therapy and the symptoms of depression according to biomedical criteria.

Keywords : Gestalt therapy; clinical care; depression.
