Abstract

The aim of this study was to collect data about the consumption of alcohol in a sample of students from a University Center of the Brazilian Midwest. The study had 85 participants, these are students of agricultural sciences courses offered by the institution. Results indicated that 50 ( 58.82 % ) of the students are male and 35 ( 41.18% ) are female. Most participants have up to 30 years of age ( 97.65 % ), and most ( 70.59 % ) reported making use of alcoholic beverages. It was observed by comparison to similar studies that the number of beverage consumption by college students has grown , which requires attention for the damage that may cause.
