Abstract

This article reports lived experiences in the "Brutus Desenhadores" research collective in its current project, entitled "Pain in the chairs", intending to cartograph- based on the notions of desire, device, autobiography and care - some remembrances of the meetings and poetic activities, in which we revisited memories of symbolically important chairs of our lives. We identify, in the studio conviviality, narratives and strokes based on life experiences being encouraged, causing instabilities in relation to the technicality of the drawing, unmasking machinations of desires in counterpoint to the subjective production for capital, and reaching a creative process where the personal development of its participants in the priority. In this dialogue, we count with the philosophical and poetic company of Márcia Tiburi, Fernando Chuí, Michel Foucault, Gilles Deleuze, Félix Guattari, Giorgio Agamben and Anna Maria Guasch.
