Resumen

BARTHELEMY, Annie. The clinical relationship: a form of "language hospitality". Rev. NUFEN [online]. 2017, vol.9, n.3, pp. 150-163. ISSN 2175-2591.  http://dx.doi.org/10.26823/RevistadoNUFEN.vol09.n03artigo20.

This article approaches the clinical relationship from the Ricoeurian conception of translation. Philosophy defines the translation in terms of linguistic hospitality, which again considers it from an ethical perspective and not only as an intellectual work. Following the hypothesis of Ricoeur, which translation can serve as a model for other forms of understanding, we apply this paradigm to the relations between the patient and the psychologist to clarify the linguistic and ethical dimensions.

Palabras clave : Ricoeur; Translation; Ethics; Clinical Psychology.
