GOMES, Daniele Moreira  and  SOUSA, Airle Miranda. Death Under The Phenomenological Look: An Integrating Review. Rev. NUFEN [online]. 2017, vol.9, n.3, pp. 164-176. ISSN 2175-2591.  http://dx.doi.org/10.26823/RevistadoNUFEN.vol09.n03revir25.

This research aimed to comprehend how the death theme has been approached in studies from a phenomenological perspective. Thus, an integrative review was carried out in the national literature based on location and selection criteria, where 15 articles were retrieved in the BVS and SCIELO databases. Most of the studies were of an empirical/qualitative matters and involved themes such as the experience of relatives with cancer and the attitude of health professionals towards death. The most used research technique was interview, just as Heidegger's existential phenomenology was the most widely adopted theoretical framework. It is suggested the development of new researches that discuss the current theme, however under new criteria of studies selection as a way to contribute to the construction of knowledge.
