To achieve this purpose, this article will present some theoretical perspectives on development and learning, as well as studies of the Gestalt approach directed to this theme. It is believed that the understanding of such points of view, as well as the knowledge of the divergences and convergences of these, can contribute to the strengthening of Gestalt therapy, not as parallel to existing theories, but as a new way of understanding the process of developing.
