Abstract

OLIVEIRA, Leticia Marques de  and  PRESTRELO, Eleonôra Torres. Mediating lives in school: reflections on school inclusion in a gestalt perspective. Rev. NUFEN [online]. 2018, vol.10, n.2, pp. 165-183. ISSN 2175-2591.  http://dx.doi.org/10.26823/RevistadoNUFEN.vol10.n02ensaio40.

The school space and the relations that happen in it are extremely important for the social formation of children and they youth. It is important to discuss how this space can be built for all, especially for students with disabilities who for many years went through a scenario of social segregation. The present paper brings reflections about the new model of inclusive school, raising questions and approaching the importance of the school inclusion for the development of the students. To illustrate the discussion, it is used the methodological resource of the field diary in dialogue with a Gestalt approach to life and a practice influenced by doWITH. This paper proposes a school practice carried out in a network, where then tire school community has important contributions to the making of an inclusive school and, consequently, to structure a democratic and dignified society for all.
