It has been recurrent in the field of health psychology research and debates on the performance of psychologists on basic attention besides the need to adequate traditional psychological practices to the reality of what has been called the Single Health System. Starting from this point, our study objectified realize the activities enrolled in health promotion performed by psychology professionals involved on primary healthcare in primary municipal health-units in the city of Belem. Therefore, the data collected were analyzed through a phenomenological view, using triggered-questions conducted by five psychologists who act in MHU. Reflections from the testimonies reveal that healthcare promotion can be translated into an attitude that facilitates the welcome, allowing the consultation in the unit to become a meaningful experience. Such posture converges to the behavioral facilitation detached by the Person Centred Therapy that, as described by Rogers, can be applied to any other type of relationship.
