The Center for Studies, Research and Extension in Sexuality, Corporalities and Rights of the Federal University of Tocantins articulates professional training actions with special attention to gender, sexuality, race/ethnicity, social class and human rights. The debate promoted by the Nucleus from the lines of research on public policies, mental health and violence constitutes an agenda of educational actions and practices that foster critical feminist reflection in the interdisciplinary and multiprofessional formation. In May 2018, a round of talks on violence against women after the feminicide of a student of the Social Work Course. Organized by the Nucleus, by teachers and students of the student movement and the feminist movement, the proposal of the talk round was to pay tribute to the victim, four months after her murder, to become a space of sharing about the early mourning in the lives of survivors and foment mental health promotion.
