VAZ, Barbara Coelho; BESSONI, Enrique Araújo; NUNES, Fernanda da Costa  and  SILVA, Nathália dos Santos. Deinstitutionalization in the Psychosocial Care Network: practices and perspectives in the state of Goiás-Brazil. Rev. NUFEN [online]. 2019, vol.11, n.2, pp. 161-179. This is a report of experience circumscribed in a conceptual review about desinstitutionalization as well as describing the processes of this nature already performed in Goiás. The joint experience of the authors in the practice of institutional support to municipalities, favored the realization and monitoring of the processes. The attention offered in the Psychosocial Care Network (RAPS) has a founding role in the protagonism and exercise of the rights of its users. Therefore, the Psychosocial Care center are central and should consider the resources of their territory in addition to the singularity of each person: daily routine, self-care, socializing skills, relationships and affections. Therapeutic residential services have been placed as a basic strategy for care and social inclusion. In order to minimize the disadvantages facing the institutionalization processes, the experiences in Goiás presented potent possibilities. The practices of transversal deinstitutionalization in RAPS brought innovations and quality to care.
