This paper aims to report an experience about the impact of the construction of the Mental Health Care Line from a hospital of the Network of Psychosocial Attention. The construction took place from the Wheel Methodology. Periodic meetings were held among mental health workers and managers of all components of the Psychosocial Care Network of a city in the interior of Minas Gerais. Initially, each service described the actual flow and listened to its critical nodes. From this, possible strategies were discussed and an action plan was drawn up to untie the identified nodes. Thus, new agreements and pacts emerged in the micro and macro-political spheres. This experience reduced the number of psychiatric visits at the hospital emergency room from the reorganization of the other components. In addition, the of the emergency department and hospital admissions took new formatting, more consonant with the logic of the territory and care in freedom
