Abstract

JUNIOR, Roberto Donato da Silva. Ethnographic experience, perspective displacement and interdisciplinarity. Rev. NUFEN [online]. 2020, vol.12, n.1, pp. 52-69. ISSN 2175-2591.  http://dx.doi.org/10.26823/RevistadoNUFEN.vol12.nº01artigo65.

In this article, I intend to explore the interdisciplinary potentialities of ethnography, highlighting one of its properties, here called as "perspective displacement". From an effort to explore its methodological potentialities beyond the limits of anthropology, the article (1) makes a move to resort to the constitutive elements of ethnography, demonstrating how these became the anthropological methodological procedures par excellence, from a glance of the correlation between the concepts of culture and ethnography in some of the anthropological canons; (2) demonstrate what has been left behind and what has been preserved from the ethnographic properties as it currently stands; and, (3) seek to measure why and how these properties can be placed at the service of processes for the construction of interdisciplinary research

Keywords : Anthropology; Culture; Ethnography; Ontology; Interdisciplinary knowledge.
