Abstract

The research aimed to understand the perception that the hospitalized person has of their experience during hospitalization and identifying the most recurrent factors in the reports through a phenomenological look. Qualitative research, field and phenomenological approach was chosen for the study and as a tool for data collection the Sense Version (VS), the analysis was produced based on the Phenomenological Reduction. Ten people admitted to the ward of the Oswaldo Cruz Emergency Hospital in Macapá-AP participated in the research. The result was divided into four categories: Family, God, Death and Hospital Routine.
