Abstract

FERNANDES, Soleane Portes e Silva  and  MACHADO, Leila Aparecida Domingues. Escritação with women: tasting flavours with Rolland Barthes and Walter Benjamin. Rev. NUFEN [online]. 2020, vol.12, n.2, pp. 83-101. ISSN 2175-2591.  http://dx.doi.org/10.26823/RevistadoNUFEN.vol12.nº02artigo67.

This article proposes a life writing that is singular: real, fictional, fragmented, meaningfull. For this, we used ideas of Barthes, who speaks of writing as something greater than a normative activity. And Benjamin, who emphasizes the narrator's experience in the writing process and affirms that it does not submit the facts to the explanations, has no hurry or a rigorous end. Influenced by the notions of writing and narrative of these authors and having as source of inspiration contacts with women in diverse and varied contexts, we wrote stories, which we called escritações. The escritações are stories, they emerge from events that happened, but they are not necessarily a report or a description of them. As a result, from the readers' feedback, we noticed that it was possible to raise awareness, provoke reflections and affections. We consider this perspective of writing to be of thematic and stylistic relevance, an inventive way of women's life stories in the contemporary.
