Resumo

Presents aspects of the inclusion of people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), involving considerations based on Gestalt pedagogy and Gestalt therapy, with the objective of contributing to the effectiveness of this process and enabling educators to reflect on the importance of their personal development and their view of man, affecting their relationship with the students, which is a figure, not a background, in the educational process. It analyzes education and inclusion broadly, as they happen beyond the limits of the school. To understand the ASD concept, it traces a brief history of the emergence of the term autism until the present day. It addresses aspects related to Special Education within an inclusive context, as well as events and laws that were fundamental for inclusion to happen. Uses the exploratory method from bibliographic research and analysis of legislative documents available online.
