Abstract

SILVA, Ellery Henrique Barros da; SOUSA, Yamila Larisse Gomes de; NEGREIROS, Fauston  and  FREIRE, Sandra Elise de Assis. School climate: a systematic review of literature. Rev. NUFEN [online]. 2021, vol.13, n.1, pp. 83-97. ISSN 2175-2591.

The objective of the study is to carry out a systematic review of the literature on the school climate, considering the period from January 2014 to December 2018. 14 articles were selected from the databases: LILACS, SciELO, Web of Science, Scopus and PePsic. The articles were derived from 7 countries, as well as a comparative study between two countries in Latin America. As for the methodological aspects, the quantitative approach was the most used, with the validation and application of scales prevailing. Study participants were conducted with students, teachers, family members and school managers. The results indicate that the school climate needs to be studied according to each context and that it influences the teaching-learning process, contributing positively if the school climate is good and if it is not, it will also bring harm to the school.

Keywords : School Climate; School; Systematic Review.
