Abstract

NSCIMENTO, Fernanda Sardelich; ALMEIDA, Renata; GRANJA, Edna  and  HELAL, Diogo H. Health, home office and teaching work: shared construction of survival strategies in times of pandemic. Rev. NUFEN [online]. 2021, vol.13, n.2, pp. 82-94. ISSN 2175-2591.

ABSTRACT This article seeks to answer questions about the teacher job on a remote format, as well as to reflect on how to reconcile this work with personal life, which is already so troubled and how to preserve biopsychosocial health in this scenario. All reflections were made from the story of four teachers from a private University Center in Pernambuco. In this way, it reflects our commitment to produce a narrative about teaching work during the pandemic that takes into account the voices of teachers. In this context, we took writing as a survival strategy. Distant from the methodological assumptions of the modern scientific project, which start from neutrality and demand distance from the object studied, we decided to write about our experiences as teachers. We understand that the epistemological foundations of Oral History could support us in the investment in telling the story of the present time, through the shared construction of narratives about the moment we live in.
