ABSTRACT Writing about the experiences, affectations and curiosity about the process of death and dying made sense after reflecting on how the subjects participating in this journey can be affected, in addition to the resonances that these experiences brought and will bring to my life. This article aimed to map the affectations and resonances of being busy in palliative care arrivals and departures, in addition to understanding possibilities for subjects involved in the process of being busy in arrivals and departures. Through letters of arrivals and departures, together with what was called "conceptual web", it became possible to reach the results presented in the article. The research also aimed to contribute to learning, expansion and application of knowledge in the areas of Oncology research, Palliative Care, Cartography, Occupational Therapy, with an emphasis on the experiences of occupational therapy professionals in the care of people in oncological palliative care and those elected to palliative care.
