ROSSATO, Lucas; RIBEIRO, Beatriz Maria dos Santos Santiago  y  SCORSOLINI-COMIN, Fabio. Religiosity/Spirituality and health in COVID-19 pandemic. Rev. NUFEN [online]. 2022, vol.14, n.2, pp. 1-13. ISSN 2175-2591.

The aim of this study is to discuss the importance of religiosity/spirituality (R/S) in health in the COVID-19 pandemic, highlighting contributions in the health-disease-care context. It is a theoretical-reflexive study that dialogues about the importance of religious/spiritual care in the pandemic, having as a guideline scientific productions that discuss the theme. R/S is part of people's social repertoire and can help to deal with adverse conditions. In health, the openness to promote religious-spiritual care can be important in coping with the disease and in building care protocols that are sensitive to this dimension, especially at a time when R/S can contribute to reflections about isolation, social distance and mental health. Knowing how R/E can impact health in the context of the pandemic can provide evidence to think about religious-spiritual assistance.

Palabras clave : Spirituality; Religiosity; Health care services; Public health.
