Depression is the fourth most diagnosed "desease", being the most common mental disorder among population. In this way, the present article approaches this subject based in the Behaviorism Theory, through the description of the behavior phenomenon presents in this disorder and of the treatment proposed by this psychological approach. Moreover, it does considerations about the classification, diagnosis criterion and the medical treatment through psychiatric-pharmaceutical approach.
