Starting from the assertion that it is necessary to broach the transference in order to affirm the possibility of researching in psychoanalysis, we explored the articulation of that concept with the notion of "subject supposed to know" elaborated by Jacques Lacan to indicate the existence of transference as well as the possibility of its handling in the attendances and interviews achieved in institutions.
