Abstract

BRAUNSTEIN, Nestor. Two works about Moses: Freuds'and Schöenbergs'. Trivium [online]. 2012, vol.4, n.2, pp. 58-72. ISSN 2176-4891.

In the '30s, when Nazis fascism was threatening the continuity of European Judeity, two great men, "prophets" in some way, Freud in the field of psychoanalysis, and Schöenberg in that of music, created two seminal works related to the foundational role of Moses. Both works remained incomplete: the authors felt that it was impossible for them to go on until the ending they projected.

Keywords : Freud; Schöenberg; Moisés y Aarón; Moisés y la religión monoteísta; Prohibition of representation; Moses.
