Abstract

COSTA, Maico Fernando  and  DIONISIO, Gustavo Henrique. "Anguish": art, psychoanalisis and aesthetic reception. Trivium [online]. 2016, vol.8, n.2, pp. 200-207. ISSN 2176-4891.  http://dx.doi.org/10.18379/2176-4891.2016v2p.200.

This essay consists in an aesthetic reception exercise, from which we will put Anguish (The Mother of the Artist), by David Alfaro Siqueiros, as main object for our reflection on the theme of anguish. From addition, we will seek analysis tools in psychoanalysis of Freud and Lacan, an attempt to theoretical construction, so that thus we may relate art and psychoanalysis in a not "applied" way. We can say that there is not too much to believe that the reflection elaborated by an aesthetics reception does not end in a particular artwork or in that it was experienced, expressed.

Keywords : MEXICAN MURALISM; AESTHETICS RECEPTION; ANGUISH; PSYCHOANALYSIS.
