PORCINO, Carlos Alberto; SILVA, Karine de Oliveira  and  COELHO, Maria Thereza Ávila Dantas. Research in psychoanalysis at the university: setting the research groups in Brazil. Trivium [online]. 2017, vol.9, n.1, pp. 104-114. ISSN 2176-4891.  http://dx.doi.org/10.18379/2176-4891.2017v1p.104.

The aim of this study was to explore the present state of psychoanalysis in research groups in Brazil registered in the CNPq Directory, as well as identify research groups by region, state, higher education institutions (HEIs) public and private. It is an applied, exploratory and descriptive research. We used the descriptor "psychoanalysis", in the consultation of the Research Groups Directory (CNPq). The research in psychoanalysis in IES in Brazil has the characteristic of being largely produced in public institutions, although with significant number of outdated groups. There is a predominance of research groups in the Southeast, Northeast and South of Brazil, as well as a larger number of women in leadership of their groups.
