Abstract

MEDEIROS, Nathássia Matias de  and  CARVALHO, Daniel Franco de. Freudian innovations on the study field of perverse sexuality. Trivium [online]. 2018, vol.10, n.1, pp. 74-86. ISSN 2176-4891.  http://dx.doi.org/10.18379/2176-4891.2018v1p.74.

This article investigates the Freudian theoretical position on the perversions and innovations for the study field of human sexuality through a qualitative research method, of bibliographical nature. We observe how Freud, in analyzing the process of configuring perversions in the psychic constitution, goes against the ways of dealing with the sexuality of his own time, based on the core perversion-heredity-degeneracy, and subverts the treatment given to human sexuality by creating the concept of drive, reason why psychoanalysis promotes a rupture in relation to the oppositions between innate and acquired and between normal and pathological.

Keywords : DEGENERATION THEORY; PSYCHOANALYSIS; SEXUALITY; PERVERSION.
