This article work arises from an institutional experience. The role of Psychoanalysis in mental health is to provide the birth of a space for the psychotic to do his stabilization work. The psychiatric discourse of mental disorders does not contain a thesis on psychoses. Confused the various clinical pictures of madness for lack of a structural conception that goes beyond the merely visible. The indefinition of the concept of Psychosis in Psychiatry comes from its origin This problematic origin also left obscure the definition of psychosis within psychoanalysis itself, until the advent of Lacan's thesis forcing the signifier of the Name-of-Father.

Keywords : MENTAL HEALTH; PSYCHOSIS; PSYCHOANALYSIS; PSYCHIATRY.
