Abstract

SOUZA, Joana  and  MAURANO, Denise. Memory, trace and writing. Trivium [online]. 2018, vol.10, n.2, pp. 245-257. ISSN 2176-4891.  http://dx.doi.org/10.18379/2176-4891.2018v2p.245.

The article explores the relations between writing and memory in order to highlight the importance of the Freudian hypothesis about the unary trait in the constitution of memory. Freud showed the existence in the memory of a "psychic writing" that would be the marks or traces left in the psyche by the words heard, by perceived images that constitute the set of experiences lived. Lacan, following the trail of Freud, elaborated the concept of letter with the purpose of evidencing the presence in the psyche of a mark that sustains the relation of the subject with the desire.

Keywords : MEMORY; TRACE; WRITING; PSYCHOANALYSIS.
