Resumen

RUDGE, Ana Maria. History and myth in Psychoanalysis. Trivium [online]. 2020, vol.12, n.spe, pp. 02-11. ISSN 2176-4891.

The relationship of history and myth with psychoanalysis is addressed. The importance of myths in the fabric of psychoanalysis is examined, not only in relation to the myths with which Freud seeks to contribute with theories about culture that are based on discoveries from the psychoanalytic clinic, but also in clinical instruments, such as the constructions in analysis, which are analogous to the value of myths in culture. Freud's reflection on how history and psychoanalysis coincide in working in a time that is a crystallization between past and present. The specificity of each field of knowledge is emphasized.

Palabras clave : MYTH; HISTORY; INTERDISCIPLINARITY.
