LOPES, Rosa Guedes e SADALA, Maria da Glória Schwab. The psychoanalyst's role as a partner of the family and school in the process of socialization of young children. Trivium [online]. 2020, vol.12, n.2, pp. 74-85. ISSN 2176-4891. http://dx.doi.org/10.18379/2176-4891.2020v2p.74.
The ideals of freedom and equality characterized modernity, giving rise to movements that accelerated the change in habits and values that guide the social bond. The entry of women into the labor market led to the early replacement of the baby's family libidinal ties, responsible for primary socialization. The slogan "it is forbidden to forbid" has produced an aspiration for an unlimited enjoyment of life and for the confusion between the repression with moral repression (Verdrangung) to the enjoyment of body and pleasure. It is up to the psychoanalyst to distinguish desire and joy and to reinclude the Name-of-the-Father in the discourses referring to the processes of socialization.
