Abstract

The identity in psychoanalysis implies the relationship with the other discourses that form a social bond and that deal with the issue from ethnicities, cultures, religions and sexualities. And this is because the question of identity is imposed both for them and for psychoanalysis as an effect of the discourse of science, when it universalizes and suppresses the subject. But some-thing differs from this in the particular context of psychoanalysis due to the fact that psychoa-nalysis addresses the suppressed subject, allowing him to search for what is singular about identity.
