Abstract

POLLO, Vera. Psychoanalysis on the horizon of our time. Trivium [online]. 2021, vol.13, n.spe, pp. 17-22. ISSN 2176-4891.  http://dx.doi.org/10.18379/2176-4891.2021vNSPEAp.17.

This text develops some psychoanalytic concepts, in particular the desire of the analyst, while associating it with the horizon of our time. It begins by mentioning the proliferation of new significant condensations and makes a brief passage through what became known as the "phallus querela" of the 1950s, from which questions are raised about female jouissance. It distinguishes, with Lacan, the psychoanalytic cause from the causes found in magic, religion and science. Then, she makes considerations about the politics of psychoanalysis and uses some of Angela Davis' proposals, to, in the end, also articulate it to the ethics that guide her.

Keywords : ANALYST'S DESIRE; SIGNIFICANT; CAUSE; POLITICS OF PSYCHOANALYSIS; ETHICS.
