Resumen

RINALDI, Doris. Psychology of the masses, more: brotherhood, hatred and segregation. Trivium [online]. 2021, vol.13, n.spe, pp. 56-62. ISSN 2176-4891.  http://dx.doi.org/10.18379/2176-4891.2021vNSPEAp.56.

In this article, we intend to discuss the ways in which social ties have been sustained in contemporary times, especially in our country, when we find that hatred, as a passion for being, has become increasingly pregnant in these ties. Taking as a starting point Freudian texts that address these questions, such as The malaise in the culture and Psychology of the masses and analysis of the self, as well as the Lacanian elaborations on the discourses that sustain the social tie, it is tried to raise some hypotheses on the formation of the masses today, in the realm of virtual communication provided by social networks, under the hegemony of neoliberalism.

Palabras clave : HATE; SOCIAL BOND; MASSES; SOCIAL NETWORKS; NEOLIBERALISM.
