Abstract

This paper anlyzes the differences beteween the group logic and the collective logic, associating them respectively to the second and third types of identification as Freud clarify them in the chapter so titled from his 1921 text Psychology of the Masses and Analysis of the ego. Along this path, the concepts of leader and Ideal of the ego are also analyzed, as well as the Master’s Discours elaborated by Lacan in 1969-70 and his paper about Logical Time and antecipatory certainty assertion.
