Abstract

RIBEIRO, Mariana Mollica da Costa; ROSA, Nayara Paulina Fernandes  and  ASSIS, Geisa de. The constitution of the colonial mass and the collective structure of the quilombo. Trivium [online]. 2022, vol.14, n.spe, pp. 73-90. ISSN 2176-4891.

This article claims to demonstrate the relevance of Freud´s work "Group Psychology and the Analysis of the Ego" (Freud 1921/2020), in the light of Psychoanalysis´s decolonization, for which the know-how of black authors is decisive. We seek to circumscribe the relations of coloniality through the enslavement of the black people in Brazil, using Freudian logic, characterized by artificial groups, church and army. We propose "quilombo" as a collective structure, different from the group´s mind proposed in Freud´s work and we collect clues left by Freud (1921), collated by reading Fanon (1952-2008), Souza (1983), Nascimento (1980), among others. We advance on the confrontation of racial suffering from the ethical consequences of cultural elevation forged in the quilombo, a breach in the slave system.

Keywords : PSYCHOANALYSIS; COLONIALITY; GROUP MIND; QUILOMBO; DECOLONIAL COLLECTIVE.
