Abstract

FRANCA NETO, Oswaldo. Law and standard in psychoanalysis. Rev. Psicol. Saúde [online]. 2013, vol.5, n.2, pp. 144-151. ISSN 2177-093X.

We observed, on a contemporary basis, a desecration of the Law. If before it was imperative, unquestionable commandment, result of a statement not subjected to what it prescribes, today we have a law more referred to syntax, which, neutrally, speaks of relations between terms, and, as scientific laws, demonstrate by means of graphs and calculations. We also see the meaning standard gaining significant relevance, which does not speak anymore of exclusions or prohibitions, but of polarities, where differences and oppositions would reflect that not all possible are equivalent to those who have to live them. In this new configuration, how to position the subject? If before it was correlative to Another transcendent while it allowed, annihilated, now we have to, in a curious inversion, seek the subject from a launch, contingent consequence of a random and immanent entry, that is operationalized as displacement and produces transformation.

Keywords : Law; Standard; Subject; Identification; Minimum difference.
