The quality of life is very important to one's health, but it depends on several factors, one of them is work.Therefore, this article is a cross-sectional survey of quantitative-descriptive approach with the objective of evaluating the quality of life of technical nursing personnel of a medium size charity hospital in Dourados-MS. The sample consisted of 73 employees of both sexes. The assessment was made by a socio-demographic questionnaire and WHOQOL-Bref. It was found that 76.9% of participants were women and the mean age was 36.4. In the sample, 50% considered having a good quality of life and 80% are satisfied with their health. The score for the WHOQOL-Bref domain was: physical = 73.8, = 72.6 psychological, social and environmental = 71.6 = 56.2. We concluded that the nursing staff have good quality of life.
