Abstract

HUNING, Simone Maria; SILVA, Wanderson Vilton Nunes da  and  SILVA, Aline Kelly da. Curriculum and the interface between psychological practice and the brazilian national health system. Rev. Psicol. Saúde [online]. 2014, vol.6, n.2, pp. 11-18. ISSN 2177-093X.

Currently, the discussions on the difficulties found in training for psychologists working in Brazilian National Health System (NHS) refer to the training model adopted by the majority of graduation courses across the country, many of which have not abandoned certain individualistic conceptions, mainly those concerning the Subject and Health. Thus, the aim of this paper is to problematize training in graduation courses in Alagoas, having as our guide the subject of clinical psychology and its interface with the Brazilian National Health System. A curricular analysis was conducted in the period of 2010 and 2011, aiming the four psychology courses available in Alagoas. Through this analysis, summaries, contents and bibliographies of the course programs were identified and brought into question, especially in their relationship with the principles and guidelines of public health policy. The results point to a concentration of discussions on the clinic and on the health in two main axes that indicate a formation that refers to the psychological practice and the socio-cultural interfaces, considering Alagoas local context.
