Chronic Kidney Disease (DRC) is an irreversible and progressive syndrome of kidneys functionswhich generates physical consequences and psychological damages to the individual. This study evaluated depression and anxiety in the chronic kidney patient under conservative treatment. The research followed transversal delinying with descriptive and correlational analysis. The sample was made of 61 patients over 18 years old having DRC who were under conservative treatment for, at least, three months, being a volunteer and anonymous participant after the Free and Clear Consentment Protocol (TCLE) signature. The instruments usedwere:Social demographic Questionnary; Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI). Existing associations among variables were verified: depression, anxiety and DRC stages. The differences obtained were statistically meaningful for those who are at DRC starting and final stages, with higher probability of development of humor changes and anxious.
