Abstract

CONSTANTINO, Michel et al. Behavioral economics: design of an experiment with Biological Marker 2D:4D. Rev. Psicol. Saúde [online]. 2018, vol.10, n.1, pp. 31-45. ISSN 2177-093X.  http://dx.doi.org/10.20435/pssa.v10i1.466.

This article aims to demonstrate an experimental design in the area of behavioral economics and the inclusion of the research based cognitive bias of the 2D:4D ratio biological marker (Fernandes et al., 2006; Dreber e Hoffman, 2007); Teixeira et al., Teixeira et al. , 2014 and Silva & Tabak, 2015). A growing number of researches have tried to understand the nature of human behavior by adding biological factors, especially exposure to the hormone testosterone. The 2D: 4D ratio is an indication that many personality traits will be developed throughout life, especially risk aversion. Thus, it is important to outline the research methodology that deals with the relationship between exposure to the testosterone hormone and the individual decision-making process in the area of Behavior Economy.

Keywords : behavioral economics; experiment; design; 2D: 4D; decision taking.
