Abstract

VANZELA, Cíntia Barcellos  and  PEGORARO, Renata Fabiana. Evaluation of psychosocial attention centers according to relatives: an integrative literature review. Rev. Psicol. Saúde [online]. 2018, vol.10, n.2, pp. 53-66. ISSN 2177-093X.  http://dx.doi.org/10.20435/pssa.v10i2.622.

The perspective of the Brazilian Psychiatric Reform and the creation of community services such as the Psychosocial Care Centers (CAPS) bring the family matter into focus. In this context, this article aimed to map the researches that investigated the perspective of the family regarding the quality of the services provided in the CAPS. An integrative literature review was carried out using the online databases SCIELO and PEPSIC, surveying articles published between 2004 and 2015. We identified a total of 464 articles, which, after a final selection based on exclusion criteria, resulted in a total of 20 articles. Most of them were published in medical and health journals and were developed as qualitative research. The results when clustered by sense nuclei, pointed out two categories: (1) The CAPS as a place of care and (2) The CAPS that can be improved. The families evaluations pointed towards a greater proximity to the services and expressed a great satisfaction as they also felt cared for.

Keywords : family; psychosocial attention; psychiatric reform.
