Abstract

OLIVEIRA, Liege Tolfo de; DONELLI, Tagma Marina Schneider  and  REUSE, Bruna. Parent-baby psychotherapy: a systematic literature review. Rev. Psicol. Saúde [online]. 2019, vol.11, n.1, pp. 109-123. ISSN 2177-093X.  http://dx.doi.org/10.20435/pssa.v11i1.592.

This paper conducted a systematic review of literature to identify and analyze the recent scientific literature on psychotherapy parent-infant, published from January 2010 to July 2015. The descriptors used were parent-infant AND psychotherapy and parent-infant AND intervention and their translations into Portuguese and Spanish, it is included empirical papers, available for free in its entirety, coming from areas of interdisciplinary areas and reviewed in pairs. The data bases were consulted: PsycINFO, Scielo, Medline, Web of Science and BVS. The material was analyzed from the following categories: 1) objectives; 6) design; 7) participants; 8) instruments; 9) interventions used; and 10) the main results. The findings showed that the results were encouraging about the therapeutic effects for both the relationship/interaction of the dyad, as well as the emotional state of the mother, baby and its development. Few publications on psychotherapy parent-infant were found, suggesting the need for greater investment in research.

Keywords : parent-infant interventions; parent-infant psychotherapy; systematic review.
