Abstract

SOUZA, Carla Renata Braga de et al. Mental health of child and adolescents: the network in the school clinic. Rev. Psicol. Saúde [online]. 2020, vol.12, n.3, pp. 163-175. ISSN 2177-093X.  http://dx.doi.org/10.20435/pssa.vi.1073.

This research aims to understand the configuration of the mental health care network of children and adolescents in Quixadá, Ceará, starting from the patients attended at the psychology school clinic of the Centro Universitário Católica de Quixadá. It is a documentary and quantitative-exploratory research. The clientele are predominantly boys, aged 4 to 12 years, resident in Quixadá city, and who are not and have not been to other health, education, or social assistance services, to deal with the complaint. Given this, we believe that the school clinic has a great social value, supporting the equipment of the network since the formal care network does not have a reference institution in this type of care.
