Populaton aging challenges society in broader understandings of the aging process. This study aimed to describe possible associations between parameters of nutritonal, oral, psychological and cognitive status in the elderly. This is a cross-sectonal and exploratory study that evaluated 15 elderly (M = 69 years; SD = ± 6.97) community residents and participants in a group of cognitive interventons. In the statstical analysis, we chose the Chi-Square test for categorical variables and Mann-Whitney or Kruskal-Wallis for discrete quantitative variables (p≤0.005). There was a positive correlaton between calf circumference and global cognitive performance, and negative correlatons between calf circumference and depressive symptoms; also, between the quality of life and number of missing teeth. It is concluded highlightng the relevance of studies like these that evaluate diferent parameters for a broader understanding of the health of the elderly.
