Abstract

FARIAS, Isabela Cedro  and  VIEIRA, Camilla Araújo Lopes. Referrals analysis of primary health care to a psychology school clinic. Rev. Psicol. Saúde [online]. 2022, vol.14, n.1, pp. 157-169. ISSN 2177-093X.  http://dx.doi.org/10.20435/pssa.v14i1.1273.

This research aims at analyzing the referrals from the Primary Health Care in the city of Sobral to the Applied Psychology Service (SPA), from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC). The study had a quali-quantitative design of the documental type, since the medical records from the SPA were the source of study. The results found point out the Primary Health Care psychologist as the professional that most refers patients to the service and also reveals the profile of most of the patients as adult females with the complaints of anxiety and depression. The data reveals the non-continuity of the health care process and the contact between the Family Health Centers with the SPA, putting at the same time the school clinic as the reference choice for Psychology actions with the community. Future researches may focus on the relation of gender and psychic suffering and referral's analysis from specialized health care.
