ALVARENGA, Cacilda Encarnação Augusto. The contributions of self-efficacy beliefs in the process of the integration of information and communication technology into the educational practice. Psicol. Ensino & Form. [online]. 2014, vol.5, n.2, pp. 38-59. ISSN 2177-2061.

Literature shows that teachers' belief in their self-efficacy for using technology in teaching influences their behavior when integrating it into their practice. The main objective of this paper is to promote an understanding of how the knowledge of a teacher's self-efficacy for using technology in education can contribute to the development of programs and initiatives to aid in the use of technology in classrooms. The specific objectives were to identify and analyze the level of confidence of teachers to perform particular tasks or situations involving the instructional use of technology. The study included 22 primary and high school teachers from the public educational system. Data was collected and measured using a Likert scale, and the self-efficacy of the teachers was analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results indicate important aspects to be considered when promoting the integration of technological resources into teaching practices.
