Abstract

FONSECA, Paula Fontana. Internships in Psychology and Education: Unique Education Routes. Psicol. Ensino & Form. [online]. 2017, vol.8, n.2, pp. 45-52. ISSN 2177-2061.  http://dx.doi.org/10.21826/2179-58002017814552.

This paper aims at debating the political and discursive movements in Psychology and Education from the perspective of Psychology students’ education. The entrance of the trainees in the schooling environment was historically marked by an evaluating attitude in which the knowledge of the expert was used to track, assess and propose solutions for what was considered an obstacle for the intended training. A criticism is presented on such ideological view of the role of the trainee, and more broadly on the psychologist itself in Education. Therefore, this paper debates the role of the trainee in education institutions and presents a proposal of supervision that has as its ethical and political ground the openness for unique education routes. The unique routes work as turning points in the education processes and allow to question what we could call thrust to totalization, present in several institutions.

Keywords : training; psychology; education; internship.
