Thinking about the education of future professors requires not only thinking about him/her as a professor, but also as a student. Therefore, it is essential to think about their very learning process. The work with learning strategies has been proposed due because of the relevance of such practice, and believing it is not current among future professors.  Therefore, the goal of this study is to describe the meetings of the course Supervised Training 1 where the Conceptual Map was presented as a teaching and learning strategy for students who come from different teaching majors. The course took place during the second semester of 2017, and 22 students participated in it. In a general way, it was possible to observe that the students understood the different ways in which the conceptual map can be used, and they could think of situations of usage to improve their own learning and the learning of their students.
