The concern about the environment has become a more and more generalized issue. Nowadays, Global Warming involves strong controversy between renowned scientists, so that consequently, they have left the academic work and gone to the political grounds. The fear for the end of the world, caused by such changes, has been used to persuade people, companies and countries to do things such as, to select the garbage, stop using the car and take the bus and many other attitudes, in order to preserve Amazonia and other spots. A consequence of our acts now, which will take some time yet to show, doesn't cause any or little fear. If the goal is to convince people to select the garbage, there are many reasons to be given; we don't need to make a monster.
