Abstract

ASSIS, Grauben José Alves de; CALADO, Jacqueline Iukisa Faustino  and  SOUZA, Silvia Regina de. Constructed response matching to sample: use of specific conditioning reinforcers. Perspectivas [online]. 2016, vol.7, n.1, pp. 36-47. ISSN 2177-3548.  http://dx.doi.org/10.18761/pac.2015.025.

The objective of this study were: a) to evaluate the effect of conditional discrimination teaching through CRMTS procedure in the active and passive voice in the construction of sentences, and b) whether the inverse of reinforcing stimulus function to the conditional discrimination function generates the emergence of new sentences. Five children of early childhood education aged 6 to 8 participated in this research. Children were submitted to a CRMTS procedure that taught them to copy eight sentences (four sentences on active voice and four ones on passive voice), after naming pretest of words and sentences and musical preferences assessment, used as specific reinforcers. The procedure was performed through Proler software. Results showed that all participants achieved the criterion on teaching phases and later they got 100% of correct answers in the baseline review, where all educational teaching sentences were presented. On new syntactic classes emergence test a better performance on active voice sentences was observed, whereas on the test for functional equivalence, the results of this study suggests that there was partial formation of equivalence classes.

Keywords : CRMTS; syntactic classes; specific reinforcer; functional equivalence.
