This paper aims to present the contribution of the Chair of Psychology of the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters (FFCL) at Rio Claro to the introduction of Behavior Analysis in Brazil. It is intended to discuss some activities related to this field in courses for the training of teachers between 1962 and 1963, when Carolina Martuscelli Bori (1924-2004) coordinated the Chair of Psychology of the Faculty. According to the literature, important contributions to the reception and diffusion of knowledge in Behavior Analysis happened at the Universidade de São Paulo and at the Universidade de Brasília. However, a course about Behavior Analysis with laboratory and researches occurred in Rio Claro, between 1962 and 1963; at that time, Carolina Bori had Geraldina Witter, Isaias Pessotti and Nilce Mejias as assistents. To reach the aim of this paper, primary documents as papers, photos and letters were used, as well as interviews.
